This position requires expertise in managing trauma and acute medical emergencies while working alongside interdisciplinary teams. You will be pivotal in executing triage and providing advanced nursing interventions, making your experience in similar environments highly valued. Key Responsibilities:
• Direct overall nursing for assigned patients
• Manage rapid assessments and triage with CTAS
• Lead emergency response actions and patient stabilization
• Administer medications and document thoroughly
• Collaborate with teams to optimize care processes
Requirements:
• At least 2 years experience in ED or ICU
• Graduate from an accredited Nursing program
• Active registration with Nova Scotia College of Nursing
• Current Basic Life Support certification
• Must be fluent in English and computer adept
