Chronic Pain Clinic Nurse

Location: Halifax Regional Municipality

Join our dedicated team as a Clinic Nurse specializing in chronic pain management. Provide essential patient care and support while collaborating with healthcare professionals in a dynamic clinic environment.

As a Clinic Nurse, you will be instrumental in delivering professional nursing care under indirect supervision. Key responsibilities include performing nursing assessments, managing patient relations, and ensuring effective communication with the multidisciplinary team.

Your role is pivotal in promoting patient satisfaction through compassionate support and efficient treatment management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver professional nursing care and coordinate treatments

• Conduct new patient assessments and document medical information

• Administer prescribed treatments and promote patient health

• Ensure patient safety and respond to emergencies

• Maintain clear communication with patients and healthcare providers

Requirements:

• Post-secondary nursing education and qualifications

• CPR/First Aid certification, current BLS required

• In good standing with the College of Nurses

• Strong knowledge of medical procedures and equipment

• Proficiency with medical software, especially Oscar preferred
