The Registered Practical Nurse role focuses on promoting patient health by collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. You will support patients and their families, need to supervise team members, and ensure adherence to CNO standards. Ideal for those with strong communication skills and experience in various patient demographics, this part-time position is available immediately.
Key Responsibilities:
• Adhere to CNO professional practice standards
• Communicate effectively with patients and families
• Observe and evaluate patient behavior and outcomes
• Operate medical equipment competently
• Administer medications and perform diagnostic tests
Requirements:
• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Diploma from a recognized nursing college
• Two years nursing experience in relevant settings
• Basic Cardiac Arrhythmias Certification
• Working knowledge of Cerner software preferred
