Position: Registered Nurse for Birth Unit

As a Registered Nurse in the Birth Unit, you will report directly to the Unit Manager and apply your nursing knowledge to improve patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver family-centered nursing care to clients and newborns

• Collaborate with families to facilitate patient education

• Apply research and theory to enhance nursing practices

• Foster a supportive team environment for peers

• Adapt to 11.25-hour rotating shifts in the unit
Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or equivalent

• Registration with the Nova Scotia College of Nursing

• Recent experience in a Birth Unit preferred

• Basic Life Support certification within last 12 months

• Proven leadership and team building capabilities
