As a critical member of the neonatal care team, the Registered Nurse will report directly to the Manager, focusing on holistic, evidence-based patient care. This position thrives on collaboration with families, health professionals, and interdisciplinary teams throughout complex healthcare scenarios. You will drive excellence in care while actively engaging in education and research opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and evaluate patient health needs and care plans

• Collaborate with families and healthcare teams on patient care

• Promote a positive healthcare environment for patients and families

• Support clinical education and mentorship for nursing staff

• Participate in research and continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required

• Licensed with Nova Scotia College of Nursing

• Current Basic Life Support certification needed

• Neonatal Intensive Care experience preferred

• Additional language skills are an asset
