This role seeks experienced Registered Nurses to join the dedicated care team in Halifax. You will provide essential care by assessing health conditions, administering medications, and developing care plans with an interdisciplinary approach. A strong focus on disease prevention and health education is vital for success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Administer medications to residents per physician orders
• Assess wounds and establish treatment plans within RN scope
• Supervise licensed practical nurses and nursing staff
• Collaborate with teams to create and maintain care plans
• Monitor and report changes in patients’ conditions
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing is required
• Must be licensed or eligible for Nova Scotia College of Nursing
• Minimum 3 years of RN experience, community setting preferred
