The IWK Health Centre is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse for a full-time long-term assignment ending September 1, 2027. This role involves collaborative care in General Gynaecology, Uro-Gynaecology, and Reproductive Endocrinology. Candidates will demonstrate flexibility, supporting various functions within the Childbirth & Women’s Health Care Team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate in patient care in the Ambulatory Clinic
• Assist Physicians with minor procedures
• Administer medications as required
• Teach patients on a one-to-one basis
• Maintain clinical documentation and standards
Requirements:
• Graduate from an approved Practical Nursing program
• Current Nova Scotia nursing license required
• CPR Level C or BLS certification within the last year
• Recent clinical experience in Women’s Health
• Ability to work in interdisciplinary teams
