Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare surgical patients with high-quality care
• Deliver recovery support to ensure patient well-being
• Ensure crash cart is well-stocked and accessible
• Assist with patient flow during surgical procedures
• Document pertinent information in EMR systems
Requirements:
• Valid Licensed Practical Nurse registration in Nova Scotia
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Experience in the ophthalmology field is a plus
• Strong ability to build rapport and trust with patients
• Focused, patient, and detail-oriented in care
