Oxford International seeks an experienced Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse for the Practicum Coordinator role within the Continuing Care Assistant Program in Halifax. Drive practicum placements, student progress, and partnerships in this essential position.
This pivotal role requires a seasoned RN or LPN to coordinate student practicums effectively while handling schedules and placements. Your strong relationship-building skills will be key as you engage with healthcare partners. Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and assign student practicum placements and schedules
• Develop relationships with healthcare and community partners
• Proactively secure new practicum opportunities
• Maintain accurate practicum records and tracking systems
• Monitor student progress and address concerns
Requirements:
• RN or LPN with Nova Scotia College of Nursing registration
• Six years of nursing experience in relevant sectors
• Strong knowledge of person-centred care and safety standards
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Experience coordinating clinical placements and student supervision
