In this role, you will report to the Manager of the Hematology/Oncology/Nephrology service. Ideal candidates possess strong critical thinking, clinical judgment, and communication skills. Your focus will be on individualized patient assessments, education, and care coordination within the community, ensuring patients and families receive quality support throughout their health journey.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with health team members for comprehensive patient care
• Lead nursing assessments and individualized care plans
• Provide education to patients and families on health management
• Engage in interprofessional teamwork to enhance patient outcomes
• Pursue excellence in care, teaching, and innovation
Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required
• 1 year of pediatric nursing experience
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in the province
• Hematology/Oncology or Nephrology experience preferred
• Current BLS certification required
