Groves Memorial Community Hospital seeks a skilled part time Registered Nurse for the Surgical Suite. Provide comprehensive nursing care in a variety of procedures.
This temporary role is centered around performing essential nursing duties within the Operating Room, Endoscopy, and Recovery Room. Successful candidates will have a Post Graduate Course in Perioperative Nursing and must be ready to work in multiple surgical areas. If you have 1-3 years of OR experience and excellent communication skills, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver comprehensive nursing care within the surgical suite
• Participate actively in the Endoscopy and Recovery Room
• Work collaboratively with surgical teams
• Take on leadership roles within the team
• Engage in continuous education and departmental training
Requirements:
• Good standing registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• 1-3 years of experience in the OR
• Current BCLS, ACLS & PALS certifications
• Willingness to obtain Post Anesthetic Care Nursing certificate
• Health assessment and Police Vulnerable Sector Check required
