Join SEMI Sports Medicine as a Registered Nurse focused on the Medical Injection Program in North York, Ontario. Leverage your venipuncture skills to support clients with musculoskeletal injuries.
This role is integral to assisting our Sports Medicine physicians with the Regenerative Medical Injection Program. You will handle room set up, venipuncture procedures, inventory management, and client education. Your compassionate care and attention to detail will contribute to patient recovery in a multidisciplinary environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform venipuncture accurately and with care
• Prepare medical specimens for procedures
• Support physicians by collecting client health information
• Monitor clients for adverse reactions during injections
• Ensure adherence to safety and infection control protocols
Requirements:
• Active registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Current CPR and First Aid Certification
• 1+ years of healthcare experience, particularly in rehabilitation
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
