As a Registered Nurse at Age Care, you will collaborate closely with the Director of Care to provide individualized resident care within your competency. Your strong background in geriatric and long-term care nursing will be essential in promoting teamwork and a culture of safety. You will ensure that resident rights, individuality, and diversity are respected, contributing to a nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate nursing services for residents effectively
• Lead shift report and communicate changes in residents’ status
• Record significant changes in residents’ condition accurately
• Review and process physician orders as required
• Communicate difficulties with physician orders promptly
Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
• Knowledge of relevant health acts and regulations
• Background in geriatric or long-term care nursing
• Registration with provincial nursing registry
• Commitment to safety and ethical nursing practices
