Halifax LPN Position at Carecor

In this Licensed Practical Nurse role, you will provide care in various medical/surgical units, fully committed to ensuring patients' emotional and physical well-being. Following Carecor’s and nursing standards, your efforts will contribute to providing exceptional healthcare across Nova Scotia. Each shift lasts 8 to 12 hours, allowing for immersive patient interactions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide care in accordance with the nursing practice standards

• Instruct and assist patients with medical needs

• Work closely with registered nurses and other healthcare providers

• Maintain compliance with health regulations and documentation

• Contribute to creating a safe patient environment

Requirements:

• Diploma as a Licensed Practical Nurse with licensure in Nova Scotia

• At least two years’ experience in nursing

• Track record of medical/surgical competency

• Valid immunizations and TB testing documentation

• Required certifications in BCLS and N95 Fit Test
