As a key member of the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), you will utilize your advanced knowledge and decision-making skills to manage clinical care for critically ill children. This role requires collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team, ensuring holistic, patient-centered care and fostering leadership within nursing practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and manage pediatric critical care
• Collaborate within a multi-disciplinary team environment
• Develop and promote interdisciplinary practices
• Participate in policy and procedure development
• Serve on specialized outreach and cardiac arrest teams
Requirements:
• Master’s Degree in Nursing;
Clinical Nurse Practitioner Certification
• Active Nurse Practitioner license in Nova Scotia
• 5 years of pediatric nursing experience, 3 in critical care
• Current CPR Certification; PALS certification preferred
• Strong decision-making and leadership skills
