Ivy Meadows seeks applications from qualified Licensed Practical Nurses ready to provide patient-centered care. Candidates should be registered in Nova Scotia and possess pharmacological training, along with relevant recent clinical experience. Leadership and strong communication skills are essential, with preference for experience in gerontological nursing.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough resident checks and safety rounds
• Administer medications and process doctor's orders
• Assist residents with their personal care requirements
• Address questions from residents, families, and staff
• Perform general administrative duties relevant to care
Requirements:
• Must have graduated from an accredited LPN program
• Current basic CPR certification is required
• Must have recent clinical experience
• Leadership experience in nursing preferred
• Ability to lift and perform physical tasks safely
