In this permanent part-time role, you will support families and children with neurological conditions in an ambulatory setting. As a critical member of the Interdisciplinary team, you will conduct assessments, coordinate appointments, and provide education. Your experience and knowledge will directly impact patient care and recovery within our community.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with families and health care team members
• Conduct child and family assessments and follow-ups
• Coordinate appointments and telehealth conferences
• Educate families on available support services
• Advocate for patients and implement service improvements
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required
• Minimum of three years in pediatric nursing
• Eligible for registration with Nova Scotia Nursing Regulator
• Current BLS certification within last 12 months
• Familiarity with neurological support services preferred
