Practicum Coordinator CCA Program

Coordinate CCA practicums at Oxford International Halifax Centre using nursing judgment, healthcare partnerships, and detailed student tracking.
Oxford International seeks an experienced Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse as Practicum Coordinator for its Continuing Care Assistant Program. You will coordinate placements, schedules, rotations, required hours, documentation, and student eligibility. The position also supports instructors, supervisors, healthcare partners, and occasional teaching or lab activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Assign CCA student practicum placements, schedules, rotations, and required hours
Build relationships with long-term care and healthcare partners
Secure new practicum opportunities for future placement capacity
Track eligibility, documentation, attendance, and completion requirements
Monitor progress and escalate safety or competency concerns
Requirements:
Current RN or LPN registration in good standing with NSCN
Minimum six years of professional nursing experience
Experience in continuing, long-term, home, community, or acute care
Knowledge of resident safety and person-centred care
Strong organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills
Apply nursing expertise, practicum coordination, and partnership-building skills to support CCA students at Oxford International Halifax Centre.
