Position: YMCA Outdoor Living Team Lead Position
Take on the role of Outdoor Living Skills & Tripping Team Lead at YMCA John Island Camp near Spanish, Ontario. Inspire campers through leading outdoor skills and tripping programs.

This full-time contract position involves coordinating all aspects of outdoor living skills, from planning trips to ensuring the safety of all participants. You will supervise staff and manage the resources necessary for a successful camping experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and execute outdoor living skills training programs

• Ensure participant safety during outdoor trips

• Guide staff training and facilitate skill development

• Oversee program resources and equipment management

• Partner with management to enhance camper experiences

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in outdoor or camp settings

• Knowledge of outdoor skills and tripping programs

• Ability to supervise and lead teams effectively

• National Lifeguard Certification is mandatory

• Excellent interpersonal and time management skills
