As a Swine Technician, you will play a critical role in swine management and health maintenance. Responsibilities include clipping needle teeth, docking tails, and administering medications to piglets. You will also be responsible for ensuring that all bio-security measures are upheld while documenting work activities effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute essential pig littering tasks like medication administration
• Monitor piglet health through accurate identification
• Uphold farm safety and bio-security standards
• Record and maintain detailed farm activity logs
• Carry out general farm duties as needed
Requirements:
• Valid driver’s license for transport purposes
• Capable of engaging in physically intensive work
• Prior experience in agriculture or livestock is a plus
• Familiarity with swine care and husbandry practices
• Dedication to maintaining highest safety protocols
