Join Labatt Breweries as a Laboratory Supervisor and ensure top-notch quality at our Halifax facility. Oversee HACCP compliance and engage in quality enhancement projects.
Labatt Breweries is on the lookout for a Laboratory Supervisor with expertise in food sciences and quality assurance. In this role, you'll interact closely with production staff to assure quality standards are not just met but exceeded. Duties include analyzing results, managing blocked beer, and maintaining essential SOPs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate adherence to HACCP standards in production
• Analyze results and suggest improvements
• Manage routine testing and compliance audits
• Oversee calibration of laboratory equipment
• Liaise with operators to ensure quality standards
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science or Chemistry
• 2-3 years in a quality assurance role
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and LIMS preferred
• Excellent data collection and analytical skills
• Effective in managing multiple tasks and priorities
