Your expertise in QC inspections will play a vital role in verifying materials and welder qualifications according to ASME specifications. With at least three years of relevant experience, you will be involved in monitoring welding activities and coordinating NDE processes. Your ability to interpret industry codes will guide quality assurance efforts during construction.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement inspection plans throughout the fabrication process
• Verify compliance of materials with ASME Section II
• Document weld locations and oversee welding qualifications
• Collaborate with NDT providers for inspections
• Witness and record hydro tests and assembly verifications
Requirements:
• Certified by CSA W178.2 Level 1
• At least 3 years QC experience in oil & gas
• Knowledge of relevant ASME and CSA codes
• Understanding of non-destructive testing technologies
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
