Quality Control Inspector in Steel Systems

This Quality Control Inspector role is essential for validating that steel and hull systems meet stringent specifications and industry codes. You will collaborate closely with other teams to ensure successful project acceptance while maintaining ISO standards and addressing Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs). Your expertise will ensure a commitment to a ‘first time right’ approach within projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct detailed inspections for compliance with standards
• Collaborate with teams to secure project approvals
• Assess specifications to identify key hold points
• Confirm report finalization from production activities
• Execute regular inspections for safety hazards on ships
Requirements:
• Red Seal Trade Certification or equivalent experience
• 3 to 5 years in quality control positions
• Experience in shipbuilding is a plus
• Proficient in MS Office suite and Share Point
• Strong writing and communication abilities
