Position: Staff Systems Engineer for V&V at Zoox
Make an impact at Zoox as a Staff Systems Engineer, focusing on Verification and Validation for our autonomous robotaxi solutions.

Your role will be critical for developing fail-safe systems and enhancing platform safety.

This position calls for a leader in systems engineering with over five years of specialized experience in V&V methodologies, especially in safety-critical systems. You will design and manage safety tests and collaborate with other teams to improve vehicle functionality and fault detection measures. Your work will directly enhance the reliability of our autonomous systems through rigorous testing and analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage test planning for safety and fail-operational scenarios

• Design testing metrics and methodologies for V&V

• Work closely with system safety and firmware teams

• Document and analyze complex testing outcomes

• Drive automation initiatives for data analysis and performance metrics

Requirements:

• BS or higher in a relevant technical field

• Over 5 years of experience in safety verification

• Strong background in system-level testing

• Experience with Hardware-in-the-Loop testing

• Basic knowledge of probability and statistics
