This role offers a two-year, grant-funded opportunity for a candidate with a Ph.D. in Molecular Evolution or a related field. Ideal applicants will have a background in microbial genomics, strong bioinformatics expertise, and experience in nurturing scientific talent. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the Principal Investigator and present findings to both academic peers and lab trainees.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute comprehensive wet-lab and computational analyses

• Operate flexibly to meet research deadlines
Requirements:
• Ph.D. in Molecular Evolution or comparable area
• 5+ years experience in relevant research disciplines
• Strong skills in eukaryogenesis and phylogenomic methodologies
• Proficiency in Linux, Python, and sequencing technologies
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
