This fellowship within the Department of Community Health and Epidemiology emphasizes systems responses to violence against women and gender diverse individuals. You will utilize qualitative, quantitative, and mixed methods in collaboration with community partners to evaluate and design intervention strategies. The project is federally funded (CIHR), centered on improving health systems responses to domestic and sexualized violence, especially in Nova Scotia.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct action-oriented, intervention-driven research
• Collaborate with community and policy partners
• Apply various research methods, including knowledge synthesis
• Evaluate intervention strategies and policy responses
• Contribute to community-based knowledge sharing
Requirements:
• PhD in a related field
• Strong background in qualitative and quantitative research
• Experience in intervention evaluation and design
• Commitment to gender equity and community health
• Ability to work collaboratively in a research team
