Become a Research Assistant at Nova Scotia Health, supporting the FORBOW study focused on identifying risks in youth. Engage in recruitment, data collection, and administrative tasks in a full-time capacity.
In this casual hourly position, you will report to the Principal Investigator while assisting with various study activities. Key responsibilities include administering tests, managing participant information, and working with youth impacted by mental health conditions. This is a unique opportunity to gain valuable experience in clinical research.
Key Responsibilities:
• Recruit participants for the FORBOW study
• Administer tests and conduct interviews
• Collect biological samples and data
• Manage study administration and documentation
• Provide general administrative support for the research
Requirements:
• Grade 12;
Bachelor or Master’s preferred
• Experience in health care or clinical research
• Familiarity with mental illness diagnoses
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
