Join Nova Scotia Health's Central Zone Renal Program as a full-time Research Assistant. Work on-site and engage in patient-facing research and data collection to improve kidney care.
As a Research Assistant, you will report to the KRINS Research Manager, supporting clinical research initiatives. This role requires proficiency in MS Office, effective communication, and organizational skills, along with a background in Health Science or related fields. You'll collaborate within a multi-disciplinary team focused on enhancing the quality of life for adults living with kidney disease.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform patient-facing study related tasks
• Collect and maintain study data for research
• Provide general administrative support to the team
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary research team
• Assist with documentation and reporting as needed
Requirements:
• Enrolled in or completed post-secondary education in Health Science
• Two years of research-related experience preferred
• Certification as Clinical Research Professional or Associate an asset
• Proficiency in MS Office and effective communication skills
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
