Research Assistant – IWK Health

Join IWK Health as a Research Assistant and support innovative clinical research initiatives in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Contribute to the Centre for Perioperative and Pain Research, focusing on women's health and equitable care.

This temporary part-time position involves 30 hours biweekly, reporting to the Centre Co-Directors. You will help develop operational infrastructures, engage stakeholders, and support grant applications. Your strong written and verbal communication will be key to successful collaboration within a diverse team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in research coordination and project administration

• Engage with stakeholders for project development

• Contribute to literature review and synthesis

• Support preparation for grant and ethics submissions

• Collaborate with researchers, trainees, and clinicians

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, Master’s preferred

• Interest in clinical research and experience in research settings

• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

• Professionalism and ability to maintain confidentiality
