We are seeking qualified Archaeological Field Supervisors I to IV to lead field teams across Ontario. Candidates must possess a diploma or certificate alongside four years of experience. In this role, you will supervise archaeological assessments while ensuring your team's adherence to safety standards, particularly concerning Covid-19 measures. A sensitivity to Indigenous cultures is paramount for successful collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead teams through archaeological field assessments
• Utilize GPS technology for precision mapping
• Monitor health and safety compliance on-site
• Document performance discussions and field findings
• Foster a collaborative team environment
Requirements:
• Diploma/Certificate + 4 years relevant experience
• Valid driver’s license and research license
• Strong fieldwork capabilities under various conditions
• Reliable transportation required
• First Aid Certification is an asset
