Showroom Consultant

Are you a retail sales professional looking for a challenging role in a competitive industry? Our client is looking for someone to work in their upscale retail showroom.
This position involves providing expert product selection assistance and design advice to showroom customers through assessing their needs, directing their product selections, and closing sales. The Showroom Consultant will develop strong relationships with contractors, designers, and home builders, providing them with accurate quotes and delivery estimates. They will maintain of knowledge of the product lines in order to best align products with client needs.
To be successful in this role preferred would be a University Degree or equivalent, demonstrated sales and success in the retail or a similar customer focused industry. Experience or interest in design and interiors or interior decorating would be an asset. Excellent consultative selling and closing skills are key and outstanding communication, presentation, and customer service skills are essential. If you have a background in retail (home furnishings or design would be ideal) and an entrepreneurial spirit, this is you’re your opportunity to shine!
A strong financial package to commensurate with experience is offered including salary and benefits plus profit sharing.
