Your role is vital in stocking and organizing merchandise to deliver a pleasant shopping environment for customers.
This position requires you to manage the sales floor's organization, ensuring everything is clean and accessible. You will operate various equipment like forklifts and order pickers for efficient order picking and packing. Engage with customers by asking about their project needs while upholding Home Depot’s customer service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Achieve full stocking of sales floor merchandise
• Pack merchandise securely to prevent damage
• Present new promotions and items effectively
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of aisles
• Collaborate with team members for optimal stocking
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years in retail or distribution (helpful)
• Familiarity with operating forklifts and reach trucks (beneficial)
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Physical ability to lift, bend, and climb ladders
