At Pet Valu, this role requires individuals who are committed to providing exceptional customer service. As a Sales Associate, you will engage with pet parents, assist with product selection, and ensure an enjoyable shopping experience. We seek a friendly and outgoing personality ready to learn and grow in the pet retail industry.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate cash register and process customer sales
• Prepare merchandise orders and handle paperwork
• Stock small items like pet supplies in the sales area
• Perform general store maintenance tasks, including sweeping
• Unload delivery vehicles and stock items up to 50 lbs
Requirements:
• Retail or customer service experience preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems
• Strong customer service skills and friendly demeanor
• Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly
• Reliable transportation to the store
