Job Overview

Supervisor at Vans: support store leadership, drive customer experience, guide associates, maintain store operations, and maximize profitability.

• Deliver high level of personalized customer engagement through genuine interactions.
• Support the store team in achieving and exceeding sales goals and monitoring key performance indicators.
• Model selling behaviors and foster a consumer‑centric mindset through authentic customer interactions.
• Coach and develop associates to deliver high levels of customer engagement and meet productivity goals.
• Supervise daily store operations including opening and closing procedures, floor coverage, and task delegation.
• Support stockroom operations, organize inventory, process shipments, and ensure timely product flow to the sales floor.
• Assist in training and onboarding new team members; provide ongoing feedback and support.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and ensure product replenishment aligns with brand directives.
• Support inventory integrity through proper shipping, receiving, and loss prevention practices.
• Promote community engagement by participating in local initiatives and events.
• Uphold company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures.
• Foster a positive and inclusive store environment that encourages creativity, collaboration, and learning.

Required:

• 1+ years of retail or store leadership experience in a fast‑paced, customer‑focused environment.
• A high‑school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Proven ability to drive results through store teams and exceed sales and profit goals.
• Skilled in coaching, motivating, and building high‑performing, diverse teams.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to influence across all levels.
• Solution‑oriented and flexible in a fast‑paced, dynamic retail environment.
• Capable of working independently, managing shifting priorities, and meeting business expectations.
• Comfortable using word processing, spreadsheets, and retail software tools.
• Physical ability to stand, move, bend, reach, squat, climb ladders, and lift light to moderate weight as required.

Hiring Range: $21.25 – $25.20 CAD per hour. Position eligible for additional incentive plans, sales incentives, or commission potential. This is a part‑time or limited‑time position and not eligible for all benefits plans offered at VF Corporation.
