Deliver strong customer service at Giant Tiger in Halifax while operating electronic cash registers, mainline checkout, and self-checkouts.
This full-time Store Associate supports customers and checkout operations at 3531 Dutch Village Road. The work includes recording transactions, replenishing merchandise, completing markdowns, and maintaining checkout standards. Attention to detail, communication, and independent work are important for daily responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide a high level of customer service
- Record transactions using registers and self-checkouts
- Replenish merchandise around checkout areas
- Complete markdowns and SKU changes when needed
- Maintain planograms, labels, tickets, and signing standards
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Ability to handle varied tasks
- Attention to detail
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Support Giant Tiger customers through accurate checkout transactions, merchandise replenishment, and attentive service in Halifax.
