Support bakery quality and customer service at Walmart Canada in Halifax while maintaining merchandise, displays, and department readiness. This on-site retail role starts at $17.45 hourly.
As a Bakery Associate, you will maintain and zone the bakery area while assisting with stocking and merchandise sales. You will prepare bread, cakes, pies, cookies, and rolls by following thawing and baking guidelines. The position also requires food safety, sanitation, temperature, and product rotation procedures.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain bakery merchandise quality and visual appearance
- Stock merchandise and prepare the department for business
- Sign and price merchandise properly
- Prepare bakery products using thawing and baking guidelines
- Secure displays safely and properly
- Be 16 years of age or older
- Follow food safety and handling procedures
- Follow sanitation and cleaning procedures
- Follow cold chain and temperature recording standards
- Follow product rotation and expiration date procedures
