Cashier Store Associate

Deliver strong customer service at Giant Tiger in Halifax while operating electronic cash registers, mainline, and self-checkouts accurately. This is full-time work.
As a Store Associate, you will support checkout operations and maintain merchandise standards throughout the store. Your work includes transactions, replenishment, markdowns, SKU changes, planograms, cycle counts, and policy compliance. Attention to detail and effective communication are important.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide a high level of customer service
- Record transactions through mainline and self-checkouts
- Replenish merchandise around checkout areas
- Complete markdowns and SKU changes when needed
- Maintain planograms, labels, tickets, and signing standards
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Ability to handle varied tasks
- Attention to detail
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
