Prepared Foods Deli Clerk
Serve customers through deli service and prepared foods merchandising while supporting daily operations with Sobeys. Apply communication and multitasking skills.
This Prepared Foods Clerk fulfills duties across the Deli and A La Carte Department. The position provides customer service, completes orders, and maintains service cases. It also includes supervising personnel when the Deli Manager is absent, promoting coaching and development, and following company standards. Sobeys operates banners including Safeway, IGA, Foodland, Fresh Co, Thrifty Foods, Lawtons Drugs, and Voilà across Canada.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide friendly, professional service meeting customer needs
- Complete customer deli and A La Carte orders
- Merchandise Deli and A La Carte service cases
- Supervise personnel when the Deli Manager is absent
- Maintain sanitation and applicable company standards
- High School Diploma
- Minimum 12 months of experience
- Above average oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and multitask
- Good work ethic
