Use pet care knowledge and customer service skills as a Sales Associate at Pet Valu in Bedford, Nova Scotia. Help Pet Parents choose nutrition and supplies.
As a Sales Associate, you will support Pet Valu’s retail store alongside passionate Pet Experts. Your work includes cashiering, customer sales, merchandise preparation, stocking, and store maintenance. You will help families find solutions for dogs, cats, birds, fish, reptiles, and small animals.
Key Responsibilities:- Help Pet Parents select nutrition and pet care solutions
- Process cashier transactions and customer sales
- Prepare merchandise orders, banking, and required paperwork
- Stock pet supplies and household items in sales areas
- Unload deliveries and complete general store maintenance
- Previous retail or customer service experience
- Working knowledge of point of sale systems
- Outgoing, friendly personality with strong customer service skills
- Ability to repeatedly lift up to 50 pounds
- Availability for weekends, evenings, and holidays
