Deliver warm customer service at Shoppers Drug Mart while accurately processing purchases, cash, coupons, lottery, and PC Optimum transactions.
As a Cashier in a locally owned Shoppers Drug Mart store, you will maintain an excellent checkout experience. You will greet customers warmly, scan or enter product data, and keep your area neat and organized. The work also includes merchandising, record keeping, loss prevention, and compliance with store policies.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide excellent service and positively engage customers
- Accurately process cash, coupons, lottery, and PC Optimum
- Maintain an organized checkout area and warm greeting
- Complete receipt and goods return documentation
- Follow loss prevention, housekeeping, health, and safety standards
- Strong computer and register skills
- Well organized with accurate record keeping ability
- Detail oriented approach to customer orders
- Ability to balance teamwork and processing efficiency
- Planning, judgement, and decision making skills
