Grad Event Sales Clerk

Support UBC Grad operations as a Sales Clerk at the Grad tent, using customer service and point-of-sale skills. Shifts vary daily.

This Sales Clerk assignment supports Bookstore customers during Grad operations. You will locate products, answer inquiries, process payments, and handle online orders. The work also includes merchandise displays, inventory checks, stocking, and protecting customer information.

• Assist customers with product selection and inquiries
• Operate point-of-sale equipment and process payments accurately
• Process online orders and pick merchandise
• Create displays and maintain orderly merchandise layouts
• Stock merchandise and prepare products for sale

• High school graduation or equivalent education and experience
• Full availability from November 23 through November 27
• Ability to lift and move boxes during setup and teardown
• Ability to provide courteous, patient customer service
• Ability to operate computers and point-of-sale terminals accurately
