Support safe shopping at Walmart as a Cart pusher and Stockperson in Halifax, collecting carts and assisting customers with carry outs.
This Walmart role supports customer service operations through cart collection, receipt verification, and store assistance. You will return carts using approved procedures, complete logs, and respond to requests from registers and Customer Service. The position also includes cleaning, equipment inspections, safety sweeps, and occasional stocking, zoning, and organizing.
Key Responsibilities:- Collect carts from corrals, parking areas, and store perimeter
- Return carts safely to designated storage locations
- Assist customers with carry outs and carry ins
- Verify receipts when required for proof of purchase
- Complete logs, inspections, and safety sweeps accurately
- Must be at least 16 years old
- Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand, bend, lift, stock, zone, and organize
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds, occasionally 50
- Willingness to use required protective equipment
