Event Security Supervisor (Temporary Contract)(Security)

This is a temporary contract for the month of June. Successful applicants may be considered for future permanent openings.

Shift Supervisors are responsible for:

Directing employees to perform to the standards of Paladin's policies and procedures

Ensuring employees have and retain knowledge of the site operations

Ensuring their team is made aware of and understand any Paladin issued memo/announcement

Ensuring contractual obligations are met - such as no time loss on site. Addressing lateness, absences, and covering shifts as needed

Responding to all emergencies; taking command of the situation

Ensuring the health and safety of staff as it pertains to training on Paladin's Occupational Health and Safety Policies and Procedures and reporting any incidents that occur during their shift

Dealing with disciplinary issues that arise on site, including completion of meetings and paperwork.

YOU’RE A GREAT FIT IF YOU:

Are able to stand for up to 12 hours

Are able to walk and patrolling the area

Are able to work outdoors in all weather types

Have previous Supervisory experience

Standard/Intermediate First Aid & CPR - Level C (from a CSA-approved vendor)

Ability to obtain a provincial Security License

English (oral and written) fluency is a must

Education Requirements (All)
High School Diploma/GED

Certification Requirements (All)
Intermediate First Aid/CPR C

This is a  Temporary / Seasonal  position  1st Shift ,  2nd Shift ,  3rd Shift ,  School Hours ,  Weekends ,  Summers .
