Become a crucial contact for policing and security needs as a Constable s role requires flexibility for various shifts, including days, nights, and weekends to maintain safety across a 24/7 operation.
As a Constable, you will engage with municipal, provincial, and federal officials while responding to emergencies and managing security measures. The position involves investigating criminal incidents and enforcing both federal and provincial laws concerning railway safety. Strong partnerships and communication skills are essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop partnerships with governmental and industry officials
• Identify high-risk areas and create action plans
• Investigate criminal incidents and engage in enforcement
• Conduct public speaking for community awareness
• Manage traffic and trespass enforcement efforts
Requirements:
• Accredited law enforcement program completed
• Certified or eligible for First Aid and CPR
• Valid driver’s license required
• Reside within 50 km of the posting location
• Fluent in English and French, both written and verbal
