Overview
Protect the Greater Halifax Metropolitan Area as a full-time In office Security Officer. Monitor assigned sites, control access, and respond to incidents with professionalism and integrity.
Apex Core Protection is seeking a dedicated Security Officer to ensure safety at various facilities. This role includes patrolling on foot or vehicle, managing entry for visitors, and maintaining security protocols. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, has strong communication skills, and can handle emergency situations effectively.
Responsibilities- Monitor and patrol assigned sites for security threats
- Control access and verify credentials of visitors
- Respond to alarms and report incidents promptly
- Document events and support incident investigations
- Provide customer service to clients and the public
- Strong situational awareness and risk identification skills
- Reliable, with a commitment to professionalism
- Ability to de-escalate conflicts and communicate clearly
- Familiarity with security technology and protocols
- Current provincial security guard license preferred
