Aerospace Control Officers manage complex air traffic control operations, providing critical services to both military and civilian aircraft. This role includes exciting deployments across Canada, the U.S., and Europe, initially serving didates can enter through direct university degree pathways or paid education options with the CAF.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide air traffic control services to military and civilian aircraft
• Perform aerospace surveillance and control of airspace
• Execute operational duties during combat and training missions
• Complete essential training at Canadian military installations
• Acquire a licence in live aircraft control
Requirements:
• Must hold a degree meeting CAF criteria for direct entry
• Successful completion of basic officer training
• Passing grades in specialized control techniques training
• For Reserve Force candidates, prior military qualification needed
• Open to former military members seeking transfer
Excel in guiding air operations as an Aerospace Control Officer.
