Overview
Industrial Security is seeking a Security Officer in Halifax.
Responsibilities
Maintain site access control of pedestrians and vehicles
Deal with any emergency situations
Complete regular site foot patrol in any kind of weather
Ensure that policies and procedures are adhered to and enforced
Qualifications
Education Required:
High School Diploma
Valid driver s license and a clean driver s abstract
Excellent problem solving and communication skills
Ability to multitask and efficiently operate a computer
Ability to work with minimal supervision
At least 19 years of age as per licensing requirements

Team and Operations
Founded in 1959, Industrial Security provides on-site security services to the various J.D. Irving, Limited locations including our industrial sites. Our team of experienced professionals ensures that personal, material, and site safety at our facilities is paramount. We work closely with our Security Operations Centre to monitor and provide security services on a 24/7 basis.
