Security Guard

Position: Security Guard Needed at Events East Group
Help ensure safety as a Security Guard in the casual role with Events East Group, responsible for overseeing security at major venues like the Scotiabank Centre. Your responsiveness will be key.

As a part of the Security team, you will work closely with Events East Group, providing security services at its prestigious locations. Duties include managing access control systems, monitoring surveillance feeds, and ensuring that safety procedures are adhered to during events. This role requires flexibility due to variable event scheduling.

Key Responsibilities:

• Control access to facilities and event spaces

• Monitor security systems for any disruptive activities

• Conduct inspections to identify safety issues

• Respond to calls for assistance from staff

• Prepare thorough shift reports and documentation

Requirements:

• High school or equivalent education required

• Minimum of 1 year relevant security experience

• Knowledge of monitoring and alarm systems

• Excellent communication in emergencies

• Flexible schedule for events and shifts
