Shifts & Pay Rate:
Day Shift: $43.00 per hour (7am - 3:30pm)
Night Shift: $3.00 per hour shift premium (12am - 7:30pm)
Back Shift: $3.00 per hour shift premium (5pm - 1am)

LOA (Living out allowance): $135 / day worked
Travel: $220 weekly, if 80km away from location
One time Travel Pay: $600
Duties and Responsibilities:
Read and interpret blueprints or welding process specifications.
Work in a construction, maintenance/repair, and new fabrication environment.
Perform Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) in all positions.
Perform Flux Core Arc Welding (FCAW) in all positions.
Select the proper weld filler material.
Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment and semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment.
Operate air arc cutting equipment (carbon arc cutting).
Set up Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) and Flux Core Arc Welding (FCAW) equipment for welding.
Lift, move, or position equipment at work sites.
Requirements and
Qualifications:
Eligible to work in Canada and resided in Canada for 5 years
Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational and Welder Trade Certification
Confined Space and Fall Protection certifications
WHMIS certification
Full trade flexibility is required
Ability to pass a pre-employment Government Security Clearance/Background and Credit check
Full PPE and Fit Tested Respirator Mask required
Ability to handle, lift, carry, and set up parts and equipment weighing up to 50lbs or more
Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, and in inclement weather
Willingness to support extended hours and overtime as needed
Daily commute to work required
