Career Skills Development Coordinator

This role focuses on aiding unemployed and underemployed Black individuals in Saskatchewan as they integrate into the Canadian workforce. As a coordinator, you will provide career counseling, create and facilitate skill development workshops, and work closely with employers to enhance job placement opportunities. Your efforts will have a significant impact on promoting workplace equity and socio-economic outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver workshops on resume writing and interview techniques
• Guide clients in identifying strengths and career paths
• Foster relationships with local employers for job opportunities
• Support job matching and career fair participation
Requirements:
• Proven knowledge of employment barriers for Black communities
• Exceptional communication and facilitation skills
• Positive attitude and flexibility in approaches
• Experience in career coaching and job support
• Class 5 Driver’s License and completion of a Criminal Record Check
Contribute to the socio-economic empowerment of Black job seekers at TAYFFI.
